The work of a wordsmith always starts small- with something as simple as a memory, a scent in a passing breeze, or perhaps the smile of a loved one.

A wordsmith begins to transform that idea into words, words become paragraphs and paragraphs blossom into beautiful stories.

I have carved out this space for the Caribbean reader, to give you stories about yourself. It is my hope that here is where you will discover the missing parts of yourself and here is where the truth will enlighten you.
The WordSmith blog series is divided into two categories:

'Long Story Short' shares fictional short stories about life in the West Indies.

'On the Other Side' of fiction is reality. This category includes personal essays exploring the social, political, and historical issues that shape Caribbean people.
